blendermarket
Yesterday the CGCookie team launched Blender Market. A site where you can buy and sell things related or made with blender. Materials, assets, addons etc… There are a lot of interesting things!
I have the honor of being one of the first vendors in this market, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to the development of the page with my opinions and bug reports, In short, I was able to attend the birth of this great step for the blender community.
Have been a crazy couple weeks, since I’ve had a little affair with the images and with the preparation of some of my products for enter to this market, but finally everything is in place
Take a look at My vendor page on Blender market, if you wish. (more stuff soon)

Shoes 11(wedges)

[wptabs style=”wpui-alma” effect=”fade” mode=”horizontal” background=”true”]

[wptabtitle] Overview[/wptabtitle]
[wptabcontent]

A few months ago I published this shoe for Second life, now I open the door to other uses publishing their 3d models along with everything you need to texture or add materials.

The shoes of this “mini” collection is characterized by the central strip inserted in the portion of the wedge. This center stripe gives a modern twist, while maintaining elegance. The central strip not really have any functional purpose, or at least I have not yet found ;)

This package includes 3 versions of the shoe, but you can find also each separately. (also in second life)

The shoe has many polygons perhaps for use in video games where the shoe is not much to see, is designed to OpenSim, where normally, users, close the camera considerably to appreciate the details

The shoes are built with different separate pieces, not a single mesh, so that it is easier to recognize and modify parts. The wedge is the same in all the shoes and then the rest of the shoe is another instance (in the case of version 3 are 2 pieces).

The 3D models (right shoe and left shoe) are included in the most used formats. Blend, obj, fbx and collada  (Designed to opsnsim)

In blender files are included materials, ready to render in Cycles. If you want to use FBX, obj or collada, you should apply textures and materials to adjust values of the specular etc. .. according to your software for treatment of 3D objects.

The collara files are ready to upload to opensim, and together with the collada files are included all the textures needed (difuse, normal, and specular) to use materials in case your OpenSim support materials

If you look for a Second Life versions , you can find it here)

No more items for second life, new horizons…

Hello, I have good and bad news, guys.

From mid-August (when LL opted to change their TOS), every time I upload a new creation, I felt robbed.

In the new Terms of Use (mid August 2013) LL includes a clause by which, users, cede all rights to anything uploaded to their servers . This is unacceptable to me. (ways to make the change I also find it unacceptable, can be read as they did in the forums, blogs etc …)

This was, for me, the straw that broke the camel…

So after much searching and thinking about the future, I made the decision not to create more content for Second Life, of course not for virtual worlds that have a terms of service where say they will have all rights over my creations.

I also closed my all in-world stores, however, will remain open SL-Marketplace store, but without any new content update.

From now on, I decided to sell 3d models of some of my current creations in Second Life, and new to come, so they can be used in many other ways: upload it to other virtual worlds based on OpenSim (as inworld’z, Avination etc …) Create unique additions to the pieces you already have in Second Life, using models for a game or simply as assets to create an image …

This change means that not all my new models will be ready for OpenSim ( each OpenSim server can have different characteristics with respect to the mesh), but will be able to suit your needs, and you can load the model in any 3D application. I plan to create a tutorial for blender too ;)

For now, you can purchase my  models in cgtrader. (I put the most requested first, “The Pumps“, because I know some of you want to transfer to other worlds together with your outfits, but I will update with more models and my new creations)

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me ;)

Greetings!

Lluis Indigo
